Occupational Violence and Aggression (OVA) occurs when a person is abused, threatened or assaulted at work. It predominantly occurs in health, aged care, disability, youth services, education, law enforcement, retail, hospitality, security, finance, and banking industries and creates a risk to the health and safety of employees and others.

Kathy will be discussing the ANMF's fantastic 10 point plan to end violence and aggression in the health services, and why it has been so effective. We will also discuss how you can involve colleagues, fellow HSRs and management in creating and implementing your own plan to end occupational violence and aggression at your workplace.
