Health and Safety Network: Tools Down for Workers Memorial Day

International Workers Memorial Day (IWMD) is just around the corner (28th April).  This year workers are holding “Tools Down for Workers Memorial Day” events in their workplace to remember those people from all around the world that have been killed in workplace accidents.   IWMD signifies the importance of remembering the those killed  but also the need to keep speaking out and to fight for stronger OHS laws..

We will be holding another meeting of the "OHS network" to help you to plan a Workers Memorial Day Event in your workplace.

The meeting will only take an hour and you will receive a resource pack that contains everything you need to run an event (including posters, how to guide, checklist, info about the day, template letter to your employer seeking permission to run an event)
