Join the fight for justice - help make industrial manslaughter a crime

Twice in the last fortnight, we have had Victorians killed at work. When employers do not provide healthy and safe systems of work and neglect their duties, preventable workplace fatalities occur. Our current system provides no justice for the families, friends, and communities of those killed at work. Victoria needs to outlaw industrial manslaughter now.

Join us, alongside other HSRs, to discuss our current industrial manslaughter campaign here in Victoria.

This kind of change can’t be done individually – it can only be won if we work together, stand together, and speak out together to demand that industrial manslaughter is outlawed here in Victoria. If we want to win this, we are going to have to build a massive movement of people determined to see industrial manslaughter made a crime.

We will be running some workshops on the night where you can participate in helping us think through how we can get others involved in the campaign, and what events we can run to draw attention to this criminal issue. As Victorian HSRs, your voice on this issue is of paramount importance to the success of the campaign.

A light dinner will be provided so please RSVP.
